Real Joy - Calvin Karass (Trance inspired track at 135 BPM)

Real Joy by Calvin Karass

Not sure how you would categorize this but its reminiscent of types of tracks that would have been dropped at the beginning of sets by some of the big names in around 2002.

As you can see I have been on a bit of a roll lately and my track output has reached crazy levels. I am producing on average one to two tracks a day. Not sure what it is, I have just hit a workflow process that works for me and I have tons of ideas at the moment.

Hope you enjoy.

Cheers
Nem

Definately oldskool!

The bassline is coming through a bit strong on my Gigawork T40s and sounds too obviously ducked. I reckon a reduction in level and a small cut somewhere in the mid-highs would get it sitting better on the kind of speakers it'll get heard on most. The offbeat hat is a little loud too.

Small details but a great track overall. I like the use of those vocal snippets

really impressive Nem, your output is pro atm. enjoyed this track quite a bit.

let me try to help you out by giving you some labels to listen to my friend.(I think your sound could benefit from doing so) try mistique music, deepsessions recordings, morphosis recordings, silk digital. ill be releasing on some of those :P
