Problems with recording my own set.

Hi Everybody

My Gemini mixer is connected to the line-in of my soundcard. I want to record my mix talent with LP Recorder but after 5 min it stops because its shareware. On astalavista.box.sk i found not a working crack for LP Recorder.
Any suggestions which program i can use for recording my own set??

Greets Martijn

soundforge is alright, but it takes forever to load any changes you do, especially cutting out dead space at the begging. It has to reload the entire track for that..

thats why I record with Cool Edit Pro 2.0, records in the same quality, plus editing the track in the end is fast fast fast

I've used Cool Edit 2000 for ages. And as DJ Chrono said: It's super easy to edit the recording when you are done.

Use CDWave, it's free and very good:

No time limitations, very powerful & stable.

You could use MusicMatch aswell.. It records directly to mp3.. It doesn't have anything to edit the mix though..

Guys, where are you getting all these big programs from?
Like SoundForge, Cool Edit, etc...

I always wondered 'cause I'm looking for one myself...

I didn't have much difficulty finding those apps using limewire. (or any other gnutella client)
