Haha now that I think of it it probably looked like spam indeed All legit though! The interview was done by a good friend of mine, with whom I run a blog on Trance music

To be honest, I don't care whether someone uses engineers or not. Why should it matter? If it makes his productions better, and his music more enjoyable, I'm all for it.

almost every famous producer has an engineer, music is like real life, those who have money have things easier

Simon Patterson is a really nice bloke and a good producer, but he no longer has any respect for his profession.

I've twice interviewed him and heard several statements like: "I didn't spend as much time on this song, but I decided it was good enough for a b-side."

Also, I was supposed to see him DJ last year. He clearly couldn't be bothered, so he arrived at the venue, played one track then let Tyas take over while he sat in the corner and drank beers. Tyas is a fucking rubbish DJ, whereas Patterson is passable. I was pissed off.

I didn't spend as much time on this song, but I decided it was good enough for a b-side such an unfortunate comment, but i believe this is most boasting because his tracks have severe use of Fx and effects that must take time to put on the track, i don't believe that his tracks take hours to be made.

Patterson said he was going to make Psy Trance, has he already started?
