DJ_Mikey_Mike kindly ordered me the VANDIT vinyl of The Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia (En Motion & Paul van Dyk Remixes) from www.replayrecords.com seeing as he had an account there which was very kind of him

Unfortunately I got the vinyl, in a different creased sleeve, with a massive FUKKOFF scratch in the intro part of the PvD Remix (that physically makes the vinyl jump!!!), which I will never play, but is beside the point.

So Mike e-mailed them, and this was replay's reply:

Hi,

We are sorry to hear that you feel this way we send out hundreds of records everyday and very rarely do we have this sort of complaint. We do buy second hand records such as promos from dj's and the sleeves are sometimes damaged this is why we provide new ones.

If you would like to have a full refund you will have to send all the records back so we can investigate the problem.

so basically i hav to pay for the shipping, i assume recorded delivery, plus the price of a new vinyl envelope thingy all because of your errors. Isnt that just fantastic. And now the person i sent this vinyl as a present to also has to make the effort of sending the vinyl back. This is appauling.

I had a problem like that before, but it was actually a slightly different problem.

I phoned up juno saying that my baleric bill record was out of pitch which resonated, so the dude sent me another copy thats the way it should be! Now i have two of the same records where one is messed up and one is good, but both look exactly the same

well thats a first time i hear a complaint about replay, i've ordered from them like 15 times so far and never had a thing wrong, they're actually the website i prefer get my vinyl from... out of all others... *shrugs*

My Armin - Communication from them had the same problem... i couldn't be asked to complain though since they've just sent me a wrong vinyl before that but asked me to keep it for free... guess it evens out for me.
