It really is a significant achievement for an African country to be awarded the tournament - a scenario many would not have contemplated a decade ago. There are many other aspects of African culture that fans and players can be immersed in rather than a 5 dollar plastic contraption that sours the whole experience for players, tv viewers and attendees alike.

my personal opinion is that everyone complaining about the vuvuzela is either a reporter who can't find anything good to talk about or a crybaby fan who as well cant find nothing good to talk about

there were serious problems in south africa with the preparation of the tournament:
being stadium completion, increased cost of housing for tourists, railway systems not being completed, workers going on strike to demand more money on multiple occassions (knowing that the government needed to be ready for the world cup)

Yes, there is a good chance Africa will be avoided for world cup hosting for quite some time, but not due to a horn
