Big Picture: Afghanistan, July, 2010
This last month was the deadliest for NATO's ISAF in Afghanistan with the US taking the largest hit. The Big Picture continues its monthly photography series of the war in Afghanistan.

Levels is...decent...damn better than a lot of the shite dominating the charts at the moment. It sounds absolutely nothing like...a billion and one similar tracks in this big-room style. I always had a soft spot.

STFU fatboy. If I'm not mistaken, your current Messiah occupying the white house called Afghanistan the "war of necessity" and said that's where we should be. My brother was also sent to Kosovo by Bill Clinton. Doesn't matter who I vote for- there's always a conflict our military will be involved in.

He isn't my messiah. Just because there is an intelligent person in the white house doesn't mean he is some sort of divine being. Though after the last president I can see how you could mistake that.
Also how can you not look at them if your brother is over there? Don't you at least want to feel some solidarity with what he is going through? Pictures from war zones are the best way to do that for civilians.

I said "your" messiah, not "the" messiah. And you know that he's so incredibly intelligent because.....?
Anyway, I get my solidarity by talking to him on the phone once a week and keeping up with emails when he gets a chance. I'd prefer not to look at fresh photos of our soldiers on a stretcher while he's there. There is no "best" way, coping happens on an individual level. Do you have family over there right now?

I just love when people pretend to know what is 'best' for others.
How fucking arrogant.
Whether he wants to look at those pictures or not is none of your affair. I'm sure he knows what is best for him.
