98% of them wouldn't be caught dead using a PC. Hence why they got some no-name dorks to do this dumb campaign.

Whats with the lame teenage-style peer pressure for people to be just like everyone else. Its pathetic.
Fuck Macs. I would never ever use that shit for DJ'ing. I got my DuraBook with XP Professional and never had a single problem in 3 years using it as a DJ. No errors or bugs or failures like Apple says on their predictable commercials.
Also, while I was at it - fuck Serato. I had it before, and it was so shitty than I decided to get Traktor Scratch. Best decision ever.
Mac doesnt support half of the programs/functions/settings that I use for my computers.

Have you ever used/owned a mac?

I tried it 4 years ago, and found it extremely confusing. Some of the programs were incompatible and/or froze or didnt work properly. There's very weak support system for software-based issues. Especially their terrible internet browser, whatever the name ... I had issues while working on my website. I like to have full control over all my files, which PC does, and Mac doesnt (Macs organize files via its own complicated system).
After a week, I had enough and returned it (with serious arguing involved) for my current desktop. Its funny, that the only times I have rare crashes or errors on my desktop computer is when an Apple software is involved, for example, iTunes for my iPod. So I made sure there is not a single piece of Apple software on my DuraBook laptop.
I like the classic Windows layout and I am used to it over the years, so I guess Apple is not my cup of tea. It has some good features, but the software/functions incompatibility is the biggest issue for me.
My initial response to this thread was quite bitter because there are a bunch of Mac elitists I know who like to diss Windows on every opportunity they can.

If people start dissing me, I respond appropriately, when necessary. But otherwise, believe me, I will be the last person who will start a thread saying how Macs are better than PCs, or vice versa.
But before everyone here jumps on a Mac bandwagon, I wanted to voice a different opinion. I.e. maybe Macs have certain advantages or vice versa, but DJ'ing on a PC is not a gay/retarded thing.
