I'm running a new iMac, and I'm curious as to what kind of production software would be ideal. I've heard good things about both Logic Pro and Ableton, but I really have no clue as to which might be better for a noob like me.

Any ideas?

I don't really have much of an answer for you. I think you'll have to look at both decide for yourself which to buy.

Yeah I originally posted it on the DJ Booth forum but was referred to production studio, but then someone moved the original thread here...and then things just got out of control
