Just throwing it out there for a local swap of equipment.

I have a 2 year old CDJ1000 MK3 with jog wheel sensitivitey and MP3 capability that I would like to swap for a pair of Technics 1200's (preferable Mk2) but in perfect working condition. This is just 1 CDJ but I think the swap would be a win-win. Feel free to throw in any old vynil as well

Good decision to switch! Sorry, I will never part with my two decks though ... 1200 MK2's are the best choice, yes. These are made in Japan and can last you a lifetime.

Its much more fun (and EASIER) DJ'ing with 1200's than with CDJ's. I dont have to burn any CDs. I can play vinyl, or switch to Native Instruments Traktor Pro, on the fly. Cant go wrong. True DJ feel. People respect that.

CDJ's are definitely more complex but easier to mix on...
