Need a hand if possible. My buddy has a jailbroken 3G running OS 3.1.3. He is looking for an unlock for his phone. I was looking at the tutorials on ipodtouchfans.com and I found some good tutorials for jailbreaking OS 4.0 and unlocking by using the Ultrasn0w package.

My friend does not want upgrade/jailbreak/unlock to OS 4.0 because he has heard a lot of problems such as slow speed issues with the 3G phone after jailbreak.

My question is, will Ultrasnow repo666.ultrasn0w.com source work on a 3G phone running OS 3.1.3? I have looked but I am unable to find an answer.

He's good to go, ultrasnow will cover all basebands upto 4.0.1 and no need to be sorry ... at least you caught it in time, before "someome" gets upset w/ you LMAO

Make sure he saves his SHSH blobs on Cydia.
