Is it possible to connect KRK VXT6 to a DJM400 Mixer?
Just got these monitors off a friend, is it possible to connect it to a DJ mixer? If not, I'll simply use them for production on a PC, As far as I know I'll need a soundcard for those.
My question is if it is possible to connect the monitors to the mixer what cables are needed, and what cables are needed to connect the monitors to the soundcard?

Yes,
you'll need a particular type of cable, as the KRKs have XLR inputs, and the DJM has phono outputs, so one of these cables is required:
Besides that will I need anything else? Just two of those cables? I've only got the two monitors, no subwoofer or anything, and theres one input in each of those monitors, while that cable you linked me has one red and one white XLR opening.

The cable he linked you to has two connections on either end.
One end has RCA connectors. Those will hook up to your mixer. (By the way, what mixer are you using?)
The other end of the cable has two XLR connectors. One for each speaker.
That's all you need. Let us know what mixer you'll be using though as you might have a few options.

Excuse the Irish retard here.
Cheers for the correction Teezdalien. In which case of course you only have RCA outs, which is also why the meister recommended those cables.
Buy those cables and you'll be sweet.

only way you'll be able to do it is if you get a side chain compressor...then it'll hook up to your monitors with no cables via bluetooth.

do NOT buy gold plated cables if your inputs are nickel plated. it causes corrosion and loss of signal over time. gold plated connectors are fucking pointless for audio
if you can, buy XLR to 1/4 male cables by Canare. they are the best possible audio cable you can buy, and they're priced around the same as most other brands, only difference is, the cable is basically immortal to daily wear and tear.
you dont need to buy canare if you have trouble finding it, all i wish you do is, not buy gold plated connectors unless your inputs on your mixer/cdj's are gold plated. always get matching plating. nickel to nickel, gold to gold
