So what titles have you guys picked up lately or have been playing? I've mostly been playing hearthstone, borderlands 2, Condemned and wow. I also picked up the latest tomb raider game for 5 bucks, it's been getting good reviews and I liked earlier ones so I figure it's a good price for a recent AAA.

Bought Insurgency and IL-2: Cliffs of Dover. Not really going to buy anything else probably.

Arma 3 is 50% off right now though if you are into good open world shooters.

I am, but not enough to spend 30 bucks on it. Insurgency I've found to be really good. It's like counter strike only a lot better. There's a focus on keeping track of all your sorroundings and patiently slowly moving forward or checking a few different places. The compromise between last team standing and team deathmatch is really good too. You need to not die but there isn't quite the same level of waiting involved and it makes taking objectives a very central focus.

Yea, honestly A3 isn't worth the $30 right now. The mods aren't there yet to make it good (which is funny because a good portion of that reason is my own laziness being on a couple of the major mod teams) and the kinks aren't all sorted out yet. Plus the future content is boring, waiting for some good contemporary content/cold war content.

Insurgency is fun, much more tactical than CS ever was. Been playing COOP with friends. Using actual small unit tactics helps, kind of reminds me of Rainbow Six games in a ways too. There are some weird glitches though, like tossing 'nades only to have them land at your feet (except you see the 'nade go flying).

i got x-com/expansion.

arma 3 is awesome and nou's mod won't make it worth more than $30.

condemned is the best horror game ever.

Didn't really see anything interesting in sale yet. Might do another check tonight. Got back to SimCity 4 Deluxe recently, and it's been taking all my spare time. No need for other games in the near future.

Anyone tried Planetary Annihilation yet? Is it worth buying? It's ~15 euros on early access right now. I was a huge fan of the original Total Annihilation back in the day, and still play it occasionally.

Nope. I'll definitely be getting it when it's out. It's premise looks pretty intrigueing and if it's anything like supreme commander it should be pretty good. That and there's been stuff all RTS games lately, let alone good ones.

i backed it but after the initial excitement wore off moved onto other things. will check it out when its released i guess, but only coz i already paid for it.
