they're alright.
kid i went to school with plays out at the avalon most weekends and got to know them pretty well / become friends with them. last year they played 2 house parties i went to. 2nd time was kinda eh i mean i'm sure they don't really put much into playing a house party but when 2 kids who play strictly from traktor on their laptop with nothing else get on after you and make you sound bad.......
but oh well. don't think i'd really go out of my way to see them. that track i'll get you is fun tho.

i recently dj'd a hair salon grand opening. i told her i can pretty much play any style, what type of dance music were they looking for, and she said her stylists have mentioned they like indie electro. so i went on a quick youtube/pitchfork/ra/last.fm research marathon grabbing as much tunes as i could with the 1 day short notice i had to prepare because i havent followed this type of music in at least 2 years now. so now i just browsed through some of the 8 part series of these youtube clips of classix at OK city and i damn near played almost all of the tunes they played. for $100 for 4 hours service, ill play whatever, but truth be told, this has got to be the most god awful piece of shit cheeseball dorkfest music ever made and takes almost zero skill to bring the house down playing it. sorry i just had to get that off my chest. yea, cool story bro.
