Astrix: Release dates announced for 'Red Means Distortion' & 'Acid Rocker' EP
ASTRIX: RELEASE DATES ANNOUNCED FOR ‘RED MEANS DISTORTION’ AND ‘ACID ROCKER’ EP - “THE BEST YET!”
The waiting is nearly over. After much anticipation we can finally reveal that Astrix is releasing his third artist album ‘Red Means Distortion’ in September 2010 - an album set to cement his reputation as one of the World’s best and most in-demand electronic artists.
Fans that can’t wait that long can whet their appetite with the release of the ‘Acid Rocker’ EP as an album appetizer, one month earlier in August.
Always riding high as one of the DJ MAG TOP 100, Astrix has delivered his most seminal and accomplished works to-date featuring a collection of original tracks which draws from his past production successes and takes them to the next level.
ACID ROCKER EP - AUGUST RELEASE
True to his worldwide reputation Astrix delivers an uplifting anthem with crystal clear production and attention to details. Layering soft, emotional riffs with rolling grooves which climax to an explosive bang no dance floor can resist.
EP Bonus tracks include a Pixel remix of the huge international hit ‘Closer to Heaven’ (featuring vocalist Michele Adamson) and a fresh new GMS 2010 working of Astrix’s classic all-time-hit ‘Eye To Eye’.
RED MEANS DISTORTION - SEPTEMBER RELEASE
This will be Astrix’s (known as Avi Shmailov) third artist studio album. Perfected over the past 12 months, it features brand new material which draws on inspiration Avi has garnered from his global travels as a DJ and performer.
Fans will enjoy the trademark Astrix solid bass-lines and soaring breakdowns mixed together with some interesting, new and surprising elements. Previous albums Eye to Eye and Artcore were instrumental in catapulting him to the dance music stage, but this one is set to be his best yet!
