A question for anyone who has followed EDM for a long time

Have there ever been any attempts to incorporate screaming, rapping, or any other vocal style into EDM rather than the usual female/male vocal trance or odd male tech-house sounds?

And I'm not talking about a rapper flowing over an electro-style top 40 track that some hack produced for him. I'm talking about a legit EDM producer making a track and then calling in someone to do the vocals in a completely different way.

Everything I've heard up to this point sounds like this:
