Best sub $200 midi controller for use with Traktor Pro
Looking for a midi controller to use with Traktor Pro. This is mainly for my mobile setup, and thus I'm not willing to shell out big for a Xone DX or native instrument's brand new controller. I'll be using an audio4, so a built in soundcard is not needed. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

Forgot to add, I will not be using an external mixer (for the time being). That said, I have heard great things about the X1, but the thread must go on :P. I'll need something with faders and EQ's (possible jog wheels too).
I can recommend the X-Session Pro, I have had it for a year and a half and still fucking love it. Still works like it has on the first day, but it doesn't have jogwheels(what do you need them for anyway?).
You'll struggle to find anything with as much control for such a small price.

That's what I use live without external mixer.
It's pretty reliable.
The only issue I've had is the usb connector being a bit lose when I move the controller around but that's almost a non issue.

Appreciate all the suggestions guys. Have a few more questions though:
1) What do you think of using something like the X Session Pro in conjuction with NI's Control X1?
2) Mac is obviously the preference in any digital DJing setup, but how viable is it to use a windows based machine?
I have always mixed on my cdj setup, but as of late I am getting sick of hauling so much equipment to the smaller parties I play at. Mainly just looking for a decent, portable setup.

Yeah, I bent the micro USB end on mine because it gets bashed about in my bag so much, but apart from that this thing is a tidy bit of kit.

1. I've not used either myself, but the X1 certainly gives you a decent amount of transport control so you won't need to use the mouse that much, if at all. The X-Session seems to be a good choice if you're after something compact, but I think personally I would probably run out of controls quite soon as there isn't a massive amount of knobs/faders. If it was me I would probably opt for something like an Evolution UC-33e (in fact I've got one which I used before I bought the nanoKONTROL), as you have a good amount of assignable controls in case you plan on using anything rather than just volume faders/3-band EQs.
2. A Windows machine can be as reliable as a Mac, providing you look after it with anti-viruses, spyware/walware checkers etc. The main benefit from the Mac is the stability of the OS, and the fact that viruses are harder to come by (although they're still very much out there). That said, there's not a chance in hell I'd go back to using a PC!
