Shambhala, AVB & PVD @ Godskitchen 9/08/02 Review
Right i have just got back, after a walk to the train station from code, then a train, then a bus, then another walk, so a 4 hour trip, woopy
Anyway it was all worth it
We didnt no what to expect from Shambhala but he played a mint warm up set up to 12:30 as pvd was late, meh. Nice and hard But he did spin can u dig it
Anyway then onto PVD, OMG, is all i can say, he played trance all the way through, which didnt please kinuvan, he wanted some techno, hehe. But i was loving it, and he played Malte & Marc De Clark - No More Rain - my fav tune atm
So if u wanna know what it was like get the nature one set Played the same tunes as he did in that
Then after i was going absolutely crazy, with my foolish dancing, on comes armin, ok, not a patch on pvd set, but then pvd set was one of the bes,t if not they best live set i ahve seen so far.
So he dropped tunes like diving (h&H remix) and 4x4 - indigo, and the legacy, so that was also an amazing set
Then to finish off came back Shambhala, and played an amazing hard trance set just to finish us all off.
So all i can say is, im glad i did not miss this, it was one of the best nights i ahve ever had, i was loving all the tunes, cant say i heard one bad track really. hehe
And Code itself, wow, wot a club, soudn system is amazing, and its set out so well, it was packed up till about 4am, and by 6am it was about ahlf full, bit of a shame, no stamina like the gc lot
So anyway thanx to claire and toby for making it a good night, and 50 quid well spent
Looks like i will be going back to code more often
