You mean like adding 'album art'?
MediaMonkey (just another free media player) is pretty good for that because it 'sticks' to the file better. Winamp and WMP just link the image to the file but it's kept separate. I know it works for Mp3s but not sure how good it will do it with other file formats.

Mediamonkey as stated above, their is a discogs application for it which looks for the discogs page by looking at the ID3 tags of the track. It's an easy program to label your mp3s.
