In response to both of these posts: yeah, I've thought of it, but I'm keen to map an envelope (triggered by the note press) to the filter... I know I could use an envelope triggered by the amplitude instead using ableton's auto filter or similar, but its a bit less than ideal really.
I'm just wondering what's causing the issue tbh, it really annoys me when I can't track down a glitch in a patch
