you may be a troll and i'm not going to refute that certain genres have it's roots way before they were created. but let's for kicks just analyze these.
empire - bavarian affair. noted is that trance has it's roots in new beat and some of it in italo disco. this track however is just rediiculase and not trance. not even in like the clowny epic beyond epic type trance.
kino - a star named sun. yunno, a while back when timbaland's the way i are had been released there was a bloke here that claimed that timbaland had ripped off a late 90's prog trance beat and just slowed it down. it was ridiculously far-fetched for something that was just a four on the floor beat and so is this one.
let's take care of the kraftwerk ones then. kraftwerk were ahead of their time, noone is refuting that. spacelab, metropolis, i hear more like a blueprint for italo, techno, and german trance. things all ahead of progressive trance. this is quite blantant stuff,
however radioactivity being prototype dubstep. yeah...no. just because is slow and or in half-time does not mean it's unique to dubstep. dubstep isn't about halftime, it's about the bass.
antenna, the dub influence is obvious. and there is a big fucking difference between dub, and especially the jamaican kind and dubstep.
that moroder scarface soundtrack track. i don't hear anything remotely "dubstep" in that. i hear 80's ballad without a vocal
