Just got their album. Anyone else liking these guys work?

Had this album on repeat for awhile. I was surprised how much I liked Tarot Sport. The album sounded to me like a melodic waterfall of noise. I am glad the a lot of the songs were in the 9-10 minute range, which allowed the music to unfold.

Anybody like their debut album Street Horrrsing? I'm wondering if it's worth buying.

I saw them open for Mogwai a while back. I thought they were slightly annoying...but while I didn't particularly love or hate them, I thought it was the worst possible choice of an opener for that show.

Surprised at how little I can find on Fuck Buttons on this forum.

If anyone has never heard of them, check them out. They are brilliant. Melodic/drone/noise type stuff. Both albums excellent but the second probably more accessible than the 1st.

I've got Tarot Sport, which is pretty enjoyable but not mind blowing. It's good to have on in the background, but as usual with drone/noisey stuff I find it excessively simplistic and repetitive, and while it creates a "nice" enveloping atmosphere there just isn't enough detail to hold my attention closely.
