Whats in your Bug Out Bag?

Here's my bug out bag contents. Does anyone else have one?

It's an ever going process, I'll be adding/upgrading stuff until I actually have to bug out/in. I'm selling all my camera gear to buy guns lolol

Here's my pack fully loaded minus a set of clothes, socks etc... There's still a lot of room in there!

On the side - ALPS ultralight Mountaineering self inflating sleeping pad
Bottom - Ultralight Tent

Here are the main contents of my bag:

Cold weather gear (will break down later)
ESS Goggles
Rain suit and camp towel in box
SOG Primitave Jungle Knife
Shirt
2 Rolls of duct tape and survival kit in a sardine can
Astronaut Ice Cream
Canteen
Bag of small stuff (will break down later)
2 packs of wipes
Pocket Ref - book is amazing
SAS Survival Handbook - Dan knows about this one
Fire sticks
Waterproof Matches
Flashlight 80 Lumens 25hour
Zip Ties
Emergency drinking water
Tuna
Titanium Spork
MAINSTAY Rations
Binoculars
75 feet 550 Paracord
Light Sticks
Riggers belt
Mace
Medical Kit
Hygiene Bag (will break down later)
Pocket chainsaw kit (will break down later)
Army Issue Survival Knife
Swedish Firesteel

Cold weather Gear:

Polypropylene shirt, glove/sock liners, and hat.
Leather gloves with wool lining
Desert work gloves

Black pouch contents - I made this bag myself!

Mask (would like to get an actual gas mask)
Emergency Bivy Sac
8 AAA Batteries
8 AA Batteries
Sunblock
Benadryl
Tylenol
Tums
Aquamira Frontier emergency water filter system
Polar Pure Water Purification Iodine
Knife Sharpener
Zip Ties
Potassium Iodide Tablets
Lighters
Folded Tinfoil
Belt
Hand Crank mini LED Flashlight
Earplugs
Glow Belt

Hygiene Kit:

Dove hand soap
Travelers hygiene kit - toothbrush/paste floss, hand sanitizer, and Bianca.
Extra toothbrushes/paste/floss
Aftershave pack
Razors
Shampoo
Eye solution
Spare Contacts and case

Pocket Chainsaw, I also made this little pouch out of an old seabag

Came with crappy handles so I made wrist straps to prevent my hands from fatigue while in use.

My 3L Camelback Bladder. I'm carrying 1 gallon and 25 oz of water. With this bladder, canteen, and emergency water.

My waist pouch - Map and GPS case

No maps yet and have a compass, will be getting hand held GPS when funds permit.

This is my everyday carry.
Gerber Multi tool
Gerber Flashlight.
SOG Vulcan Mini knife. Made in Seki, Japan also known as The City of Swords, It was the center of Samurai sword making for the last eight hundred years. This is an amazing blade! Sharp as hell and stays sharp.

So that's if I have to bug out, I've just begun prepping for bugging in.

Here are some pics of my storage in the basement, it's a work in progress. I started it this week.

Here's the food/water shelf: Looking into getting 55 gal drums for water...

The other shelf which will be non food supplies:

I built a barricade for the door. My family's like why the hell did you put that up?! Well, if shit hits the fan and we end up bugging in, people will go crazy and start scavenging. It's pretty much a last retreat if I can't hold off the masses that find out I have food stored. That's where I'll store my guns and ammo when I get it also. I'll eventually get a stronger door and add another bar at the bottom so it can't be kicked in.

Both, actually.

Better to have it when you don't need it, than need it when you don't have it.
