I think that when you feel good it's because of what your thinking at the time, for example if you're in a rollercoaster you start thinking about the ride and how it's effecting on your body and because of that thought you feel good. Same goes to every other time when you're having those happy emotions (except for when you're on ecstacy though  ) Okay, but now to the real question: "Why does trance make you feel so good?" well when your listening to the music and really focusing on it, your mind and your thoughts just drift away with it and you think of nothing else at the time, right? And that's why the music takes you elsewhere and captures your emotions. Like when your listening to a tune and when a element of the track that you like really much (could be a piano roll or almost anything) kicks in you'll feel really happy because your mind is thinking about something that it really likes, the element of the track (of course your thinking about the whole track, the beat the bass and all but there is most often one elemnt that gives you that emotion).
Well... That was just a thought of mine which I wanted to share with you and I would really appreciate some comments on this.

What I REALLY love about Trance is that beautiful melody that comes on after a breakdown and then hearing it with all of the other elements a few seconds later (Insigma - Open Your Eyes (all versions), Push - Universal Nation (all versions but, ORGINAL IS BEST!), Starparty - I'm In Love (Ferry Corsten and Robert Smit Mix), Gouryella - Tenshi, Gouryella - Ligaya, the track after Yahel - Voyage on DJ Tiesto - Magik 6 - Live In Amsterdam, etc...). I LOVE Trance for what those tracks are like.
