glo in long island

hey fellow ta'ers

i have to be out in bay shore next weekend for work - i just saw that steve angello will be at glo in long island next fri night...

any feedeback on this place?...whats the crowd like, etc...ill be by myself... is it douchey or party peeps....worth checkin out or pass?

also what time does it close? or what time do you think he will come on.

i never went there but from friends
i heard its mostly gweedo douchebag guys and stuck up long island bitches...but angello might bring a few good heads in that actually know of his music i think the club closes like 4 or 5 so he should be on by 1 i would say
i would get there early tho cause the line can be a bitch
so yea if the admission isent too much i say go for it
grab a few drinks and grind on all those long island girls

That used to be mirage. Alot of Nassau and Hofstra kids went there. The space was pretty nice from what I remember.

It's a nice venue, the scene is mainly younger college kids. The type that go to a place to be seen not really for the music mostly. Not sure how it will be for Angello tho. They usually don't have too many big acts coming through there.

I think "Motorcycle" (G&D+Jes) also played there once a while back but it was likely still Mirage at the time.

Mirage was great when Ojeda was there on wensday nights

but diving there was a fuckin nightmare

most pot holes I've ever seen since driving around Jersey City

They aren't that bad now, they fixed most of them. GCP and LIE are both repaved.

Yeah, the GCP is a smooth ride now. But I'm skipping this one and headed to AC to see him.

FYI If anyone heads out to this event, just make sure you have a designated driver, Nassau County has been cracking down on the DWI.
