Random thoughts

Maison has the best sound system in Toronto. Brand new spot on Mercer Street, their Funktion One is no joke.

There are some DJs that are amazing at keeping the levels at non ear splitting levels when the play. On the flipside, some DJs practically max out everything, playing LOUDER doesn't mean you are playing better. Ouch my ears!

I like how Toronto is making the move to save some money for the sound budget instead of blowing it all on the decor!

the funktion system has as much pull on me for the villalobos/sneak b-day event as the dj's themselves

omg cobra's volume is waaaayyy to high for such a small club. I practically always wear earplugs when I go out nowadays....

club anthems @ cobra make the volume go louder. i was there on sunday and this mix of hip hop and electronic has a horrible effect on clubs.

bottle service @ clubs is so lame.

do bottle service properly at a lounge.
