I'm not being sarcastic when I ask this, but what in particular do you like about it? Bc when I sampled it I heard typical desolat and typical ricardo.

Typical Desolat? Listen to the recent EPs on Desolat by Davide Squillace and Basti Grub and tell me how they're similar to this? Desolat has been releasing pure club EPs for a while now, it's nice for them to put out a release that shines when listened to on earphones. I can't really put my finger on what I love about this release, just the hypnotism and depth in the tracks.

And I see typical Ricardo as a compliment

Yea, this is more in line with the Sebbo - Watamu Beach EP from 2008 which is definitely something I prefer.

I personally think the Moritz rework of Watamu is one of the very short list of tracks on Desolat that is still substantial.

Loco's Artist album was decent but could have been cut in half if he quality screened it a bit better. Alot of the tracks were similar in concept so it felt a bit samey. Pimp Jackson was the obvious highlight.

The rest of the releases on Desolat have held very little appeal for me. Regarding the release in this thread, I can see the orig mix doing something nice for an atmospheric moment but the 2 remixes are plinky plonk + weird bass standard modern club fodder
