Amnesia: The Dark Descent

I saw this on zero punctuation, decided to check it out..

minus my MAJOR technical difficulties, it's a pretty good game.

This only happened after i played it for like 2 hours after install.

yeah, its a little rough round the edges but its scarier than anything i've played in a long time. certainly feels like a tighter experience than the penumbra games.

This is certainly next on my list after Castlevania on Tuesday... and possibly New Vegas...

Looks a lot like the Call of Cthulhu game, which was also pretty terrifying.

castlevania is just ok. It's very very linear. Enslaved odyssey to the west is fantastic, and worth the buy.

Hm, I'll seriously take that into consideration. I still have a TON of PS3 games to finish... RE5, God of War 3, Bayonetta, Saints Row 2, Arkham Asylum. Some of these I actually need to start first.

Yeah, this game was good fun. Definitely a lot different than most other games, unless you've played Penumbra.

I'm guessing so. And yeah, the engine isn't very optimized. I lagged a lot more than I should have given my hardware. Still a good game though.
