Wanted to ask about some programs, Fxp, on soft synths
When I press first note, it sounds good
But when I pres second, at the same time, it is silent
And third, at the same time, it is even more silent

How is this called, so I would disable it
for example in Z3ta or Albino, or Blue
Or where to disable it in z3ta

Sounds like you've got the 'polyphony' setting at '1'. This means that the synth will only sound one note at a time, you need to increase that setting.

you have probably selected monophonic or legato mode.

have you tried increasing your polyphony ? Unless you are in mono but I don;t think Zeta has a mono switch rather you control it with the number of voices. Set it to something like 32 and see what happens. I also don't understand when you say silent then more silent. How can you get quieter than silent.

IF the second note is more quiet , it probably does not have enough voices to play all the unison voices. Increase the amount of voices available.

Could be several things, but it sounds like it's possibly an envelope (e.g., assigned to Osc level or a low-pass filter) that isn't retriggering with each new note. Can you post a sample or a screenshot or, better yet, export the patch (as an .fxp) and post it so that we can download it?

Also, look at the following two parameters in the Master Section (lower righthand corner) as you play notes and tell us what they say:

- Poly (Polyphony)
- Voices (this one should change depending on how many notes you play)

EDIT: just to follow up on that, if the Poly value is "1", then Z3TA automatically assigns the envelope generators to legato mode, meaning that the envelope will not retrigger on subsequent notes if you hold the previous note down - which sounds like what you're experiencing. Solution: increase the poly value (left-click on the value in the Poly field).

One example is Valve Lead
And there are many presets like this
It is great effect but I would like to disable it sometimes

I will repeat, that the second note is more silent
When you hold first and second at once

That is on v14 default.fxb
Preset on B 102
valve lead (mw+velo)

Could also be the slide?

Some synths won't recreate the original velocity on a slide note if the settings are adjusted as such.

Maybe try messing with the portamento setting. Also which preset/synth you using?

edit: Also what midi input are you using? Does it have onboard options for any of the stuff you've seen talked about so far in this thread?

That's exactly as I stated above - the patch is monophonic (Poly = 1). So, what's happening is that Envelope Generator 1 (EG1), which is modulating the filter cutoff, is not retriggering because it is in legato mode (automatically assigned when polyphony=1). So, the envelope opens the filter quickly to give the sound a sharp attack, (defined by the attack and decay settings in EG1) then closes quickly causing the filter frequency to return to its setting of ~224Hz, which gives the patch a more muted sound. If you don't let go of the first note and play more notes, the envelope generator doesn't retrigger (that's what legato mode does), so the filter stays at its position, causing subsequent notes to also sound muted. The solution is exactly what almost everybody in this thread has told you to do:

INCREASE THE POLYPHONY!

Obviously someone doesn't know as much about polyphony as they thought lol.

I'm curious what second note you were hearing if the patch was in mono in the first place... lsd maybe? ease off buddy.

The second note will still trigger even if you hold down the first note because Z3TA is automatically set to last-note priority whenever polyphony is 1 (i.e., monophonic). So he's definitely hearing the subsequent notes, but the filter stays at its nearly closed position because the envelopes don't re-trigger in legato mode.

How can I increase the volumen of the muted sound
That comes in the second note
Without selecting more poliphony
Because I like the effect
But it has much lower velocity that the first note
