Portishead are the kings/queen of trip-hop. I wouldnt call em ambient at all coz some of their stuff is heavy beated and disturbing! i fuckin love em! Dummy is one of my fave CD'z..

hmmm...I only know a place in Brittain which is called Portishead...
hahaha no-one has heard of portishead... they are a UK trip-hop group. they rule and the lead singer has a voice like a fuckin angel

Seen any vid clips for them?? I saw one the other day - they filmed this chick under water then superimposed her into an alleyway. so she was floating and somersaulting with her hair going everywheres like it does in the water, only she was on the street - freaky
and then? they showed her in reverse - ever seen what ppl do in water reversed?? - scary
