If anyone isn't familiar with it, "separation mastering" is now commonly used by companies mastering commercial projects. The idea is that instead of mastering a 2-channel stereo master, the project is split up into about 6 masters (ie. kick, bassline, synths, vocals etc.) and mastering is applied to each. This gives far better results than the traditional method!
The best 2 sites offering this service I have used are the following:
DCA Master Mixdowns - Also worked with some major artists and labels but not quite as well known. Superb results and a bit cheaper, they do a mixdown and mastering bundle too.
I highly recommend both although there are other people offering similar services that I have not yet used.

I looked at the 'cheaper' firm you mention - £149 for a track. How do people justify this when they may a few bucks in royalties?

There is a lot more to earn outside trance, look at the big billboard artists, those are ones spending their money there.

Great first post - not obvious at all that you signed up today just to spam us.
This shit really annoys me. If you're going to spam us with your services, at least give us a little credit and don't try to pretend that you're just offering some objective, non-biased endorsement. You might actually earn a little respect if you introduced yourself and told us about your offerings in a straightforward manner. But, congratulations, you've succeeded in destroying your credibility and trustworthiness AFAIC.

It really baffles me how a lot of people have little to no business sense.

I was thinking the same. It's all we've had in a couple days.
