Was there not supposed to be a kick drum? It really just seemed like 9 minute wall of sound that kind of plodded along... it's not really house in any way shape or form, the track hardly has any sort of groove and isn't much more than you holding a pad for 9 minutes.

If I look at it from the perspective that it's not actually supposed to be house it honestly sounds like one of those tracks that you listen to to put you to sleep. I wouldn't even call it ambient, the appeal of ambient comes from the amazing soundscapes that are created where you can close your eyes and just imagine yourself in another place, but this almost totally lacks that.

Keep working on it though

Edit: Everything else on your Soundcloud page is way better than this, but what I've noticed in most of your tracks is the almost complete absence of a kick drum....?

thanks for the imput - it was meant to be low key, but perhaps I over did it on just how low key it is..

re: kick drum - I'll try re-twigging some of my more favourite tunes to make it more audible

glad you like what else is on my soundcloud page more than this - it was an experiment of sorts

Lol...well...I thought I liked the tune. But Seandroid was definitely right about the kick. It sounds like it disappears like a fart in the wind. You may want to work on that. Try using vengeance samples, maybe.

Guru is great for songs that have a lot ducking or otherwise make the kick by itself. With such a wall of sound you got here, it really tones down the kick. Vengeance has some good electro/house kicks that you may want to check out. Try Electroshock Vol. 1 or something around there.

There is not much going on:

The mood and a vibe of the song are ok!
The sub bass is good to!

IMO: snare stands out of the mix

the kick is a click.

a second mid bass is missing, there is no groove at all.

percussion is ok but need progression and variation trough the song.

try working with a 5 min track.

Cheers, keep it up!
Mise.
