Just curious as to which clubs people here go to?

Theres tons to choose from in the GTA, but not too many play good music according to alot of people here.
Seems like Guv is probably the most popular. Only because Mark plays trance.

Is there any other clubs that play Trance?

I dont mind Guv, the club itself. But the crowed kinda freaks me out sometimes. I mean when you have 6 guys, all juiced up dancing around eachother with their shirts off, it makes you wonder.
And I wont get into the drug issue, because everyone is aware of it.

What clubs do you reccomend? Ones that play good Trance, Hard Trance or Tech-House.

Ilike to goto Viva on Friday. They are awesome
Good lighting and sound rocks and they play trance alot
also System is good too.
always good crowd there and nice sound.
I would say Comfortzone on spadina is ok too, although i'v been there only once.
it's different mood there.
they play cable tv coner to coner, not too packed and good enough music.
Guvernmnet is another good place but, so packed all the time.
nobody for real dancing.

Saturdays - phantom
good vibe, nice people, hot hot hot chicks,
trance after 1 am, cheap drinks, close to my house...

i only go to system nowadays, coz i used to go to Guv a lot when they had special dj's. i still haven't yet gone to Guv for a regular saturday night hmm, it seems that i should check it out
btw mecha, phantom is such a shitty club, its like flight 2000 for 19 & over! LOL

Breaks, house, electro & downtempo.

You won’t hear much trance but you’d have your required weekly dose of tech-house @ 108 on Thursdays; it’s mostly designed for house heads but it’s the hot spot on Thursdays night. The place is quite solid and is gets packed every Thursday, you can find a decent amount of hoochies, the drinks are cheap and it’s only 5 mins away from my house
I checked out phantom lounge 2 weeks ago and I found it not bad all. The place has undergone a major alteration since the last time I was there and it’s looking like a nice little place nowadays. There was definitely a good vibe, the crowd isn’t that sophisticated so that facilitates the *macking* process, I don’t know about hot hot chicks mecha, but still there were some doable ones. Just one thing thought, WE WANT MORE TRANCE!

I haven’t been to Guv in months but whatever happens September 1st I’m in the house that’s for damn sure

AS he said, Phantom on a saturday nite casue it is cheap and tons of fun. I also like systems and Occasionally G spot for the latin music (Don't LAUGH!!:P)

How about Tonic? I've only been there once to see Carl Cox but I had a great night. I found it quite similar to Systems in the sense of space (actually might be bigger than Systems), and the crowd..........I would go again!

Why do so few people goto Viva if they play good trance and have an amazing setup!?!?! (I've never been)

Cause firstly Viva is far up North. Secondly its 90% Asian. I dont have anything against that. But what I mean is that the crowd is not diverse.


MY favourite club personally is the one and only GUVERNMENT. NOthing matches it.

Something magical happens to me during those twilight hours on Sunday morning. It is on the Sabbath that I always find my God. I am as nomadic as the others wandering from warehouse to warehouse to have my soul awakened. The music thunders through my flesh, the notes swim within my veins. DJs spin their scriptures with eloquence, zest and assurance. The bass rattles my lungs and beats in unison with my heart. If I close my eyes I can watch my flesh melt away and my soul rise between the spaces of sound.

I use to go to 108 alot. Personally I dont think they play tech-house. They play more fag-house as some people call it. Lotz of vocals and what not.

I think Guv would be alot better if there wasnt so many people G'd out or on E. I dont go to Guv often, only when there is a special guest Dj.

System, I havent been in ages, well over a year.
Tonic, yeah, I cant even remember that far back. I missed Cox too, really pissed about that.

Phantom, been a few times here and there. Most of the girls there are good looking, the girl/guy ratio is very good too. Which makes things more interesting. As for the music, I'm not one to bash anyone. But when you hear the same song 4-5 times in a night. Its gets a little annoying. Dont know if its still like that.

Make sure you pass by next week. Maybe you'll run into me. I'm kinda fillin in for someone. So we'll see how that goes...

VIVA hands down heh .. any Systems too ..

if they had more clubs with the technical aweness of Viva many of you wouldn't have trouble finding places to hear Trance anymore .. :]

but after Gielen hopefully many of you will come to realize this..

the guvernment is my favourite... especially on the special events, i just luv the gogo dancers there, (not the males, that usually look like fags, but the girls) theyr like amazing, i luv dancing there on stage, i just have to everytime im going there, i love the atmosphere, including the smoked up, scrached or just people on any kinda drugs (used to be one of them), i luv their sound system - its the best ever! the lights, the lazers... i dunno, im just feelin amzing there...
