Police were called to a hotel parking lot in Ithaca, New York, after a nearby resident reported seeing the student acting strangely. Keri Blakinger, a 26-year-old Cornell University senior, was found holding a clear plastic container containing heroin with a street value of $150,000. "The preliminary weight of the heroin indicates it may be the second largest seizure of the drug by the Ithaca Police Department since September of 2008," Deputy Ithaca Police Chief John Barber told the Ithaca Journal. The student was reportedly under the influence of drugs when she was arrested. "She appeared uncomfortable, uneasy, having a hard time standing still and of an altered state of mind," an onlooker told police.

my alma mater. i was acquainted with the girl (several of my friends knew her better) and the building she lived in. we called it the crack house - it was the only house in the neighborhood that would rent on a monthly basis so it attracted all the transients. one of my friends lived there and i remember the first time it got raided by a swat team
