I tried uploading a mix i recorded the other day. It just so happens i used a track also used in a Hernan Cattaneo mix cd years ago.
For some reason the site claimed my mix was copy right infringement and blocked it. It even ID it as the Cattaneo mix cd.
Has any one else had similar troubles with soundcloud? Any way to avoid such problems and still upload ones mixes?

How did you label your mix in the description? i.e.(live, remix, other, etc.) If it's a dj mix describe it as "other" from the drop down box. I just loaded two mixes onto Soundcloud this week with no problems.

Next question, where did the track come from? The actual cd? A lot of cd's have a copyright code that's embeded into the original cd.

Thanks for responding. I labeled my mix as a demo. I'll try it again as other. I picked the track in question up off beatport. It's off an old Bedrock release. As in not off a mix cd but rather off a bedrock two track digital ep.
