Just listened to your track, And it sounds pretty good so far.
I do feel like alot of the instruments are in the same frequency range though, maybe try EQ'ing it a bit more to make the individual sounds stand a bit more out.

The track is full of energy, which is nice! But one thing I would change is the "kick breaks". There seem to be alot of them from 0:26 and all the way to the break. Like every 8 bar or so. It just takes some of the energy you build up away from the track. I would have cept it to every 16 bar or so.

Hope you understood what i ment, lol =)
Good job though

I like the phasing high roller from the off but I personaly think it would be better back in the mix so it adds energy without being so obvious - sort of how Simon Patterson does them.

I agree this packs masses of energy.
The snare sound on the rolls is very cliche for me - swap it for something more orginal.

The clap is ok but again a bit basic - I reckon you could come up with something a little more unique.

The break continues the excellent energy punch which in my book keeps it well in the club dance zone, but your lead sound again is a bit basic - this sound was big in hard dance nabout 5 years ago. A moe unique sound with your own stamp would go down better. You hear this sound a lot in those Melborn sfuffle vids on youtube from a few years back. In fact this track might well suit the Australian / Asian shuffle market - do a search on you tube for 'Melbourn shuffle'.

The end of the break is ok but you couldget it tighter and better - just work it a little more and aim to get max impact when it drops - maybe a little near silence just at break end.

As I say great energy that will be more potent with better sounds.

Cheers

what do you have on the master? waveform looks really squished... would help in hearing the mix if you left the master channel alone. the song is 7 minutes long and virtually no dynamics.

The kick sounds flat and far too compressed. In fact the whole track sounds like that. Mastered far too loud for my liking. Can't say much more from an engineering perspective other than if you tried to make it loud, I think you've succeeded (not necessarily a bad thing, since that's what the industry wants I guess). Will leave the musical critique over to someone more experienced.

Hmm, there's a rather harsh tinge I experience while listening which I think is probably something to do with what Atlantis mentioned.

All right, this track really isn't my thing, and I found myself skipping through a lot of it. However, kudos for the energy throughout

Definitely agree with these - the mix is VERY fatiguing. Even the breakdown is loud. Musically, I like the main theme, but the overall song is very harmonically and melodically static, is lacking a strong element of harmonic tension and release, and doesn't develop or evolve enough for my tastes, so it doesn't keep me interested for nearly 8 minutes. But, that seems to be the case with a lot of newer trance, which I'm really not into, say take that comment for what it's worth.

Lots of potential with this track here, but IMO the sound design needs quite a bit of work, most of the synthesizers are a bit cheesy and over used, but that might just be a personal taste thing. The track CERTAINLY has wall-of-sound-itis and the track has no room to breath, there's no break from the energy which, while it sounds weird just makes the track less energetic in the long run. The track has huge amounts of energy right at the beginning and then builds to almost nothing so it just exhausts the listener.

Music should be like a rollercoaster ride, there should be ups and downs, if your track were a roller coaster ride it'd be like a flat launch track directly into brakes.

It has potential but I think the arrangement needs work, if anything though it needs to be remastered. It's up to you, though, man, if you think the track is good enough to be signed there's no harm in putting it out there to see what people have to think!
