not too familiar with some of the other mixers, and too lazy to go check on them but my opinion (biased) is for the numark dm-3002x.

I've got a 2002x which is nice and the features are all good, it doesn't load on heaps of useless crap you ain't gonna use; just the basics plus some bonuses. The cue split it prob. the best function, the vu meters (lights) work well. Overall I like it esp. for the price, but keep in mind I don't know all the others.

just my 2 cents, good luck mate

I have heard some great things about the Stanton RM-3S's, but I can't give ya a personally opinion on them cause I havent ever used one. Vestax is an awesome manufacturer tho. I myself have a Vestax 275.

I'll put in another vote for Numark.

I'm using the DM-3001X, I love it.

3 Channel mixer with 3 phono inputs & 3 line inputs, split/blend cue, 3-band EQ/kills, master/monitor out...that's all that I need

Hei Guyz .. Thx for the reply and btw is that true that Numark does not have long life fader cycle ? i read somewhere else in this forum that their fader are bad

btw i just checked that Numark Pro SM3 is way to expensive .. hahhaaA~ i thought it will cost me near DM3002x so i am going to exclude it from my option

Thx LeVouS

I'm starting to feel like a record on repeat, but here ya go:

Stanton RM3 Don't get this, i have heard from many people it is crap

Behringer VMX300 Just came out recently, not sure if it will last, cheap price. I have heard of a few breaking down, and with the price, i am not surprised.

Numark SM3 this mixer is aiight, a couple people reccomended it. numark has a TON of mixers in this range, including the fusion series, all would be OK. I have heard bad things about the faders though, they tend to wear out.

Vestax PMC. both those mixer that you listed have PMC faders. these are not as good as the PCV ones, and will not last nearly as long. you will be buying new faders soon, not just crossfader.

the PMC170A is a PCV version of the PCV170. one thing to know about this mixer is that the EQ does not work in the headphones which i think is pretty lame.

the vestaxPCV275 is a PCV version of the PMC-270 and the extra money for the PCV faders is worth every penny in my opinion.

it's more than you want to spend, but trust me, this mixer rocks.

go look at the post pics of your setup thread, and take a look how many tranceaddicts have this mixer, and you will see that it's the one to get.

but, if you really can't afford it, then i say get the numark, stay away from behringer and the rm3.

You're absolutely right. My experience with Numark crossfaders is that they wear out really fast. I had a Numark and the crossfader went bad is less than 6 months. My friend has the 3001x. I love the set up on it. It is simple, but has everything you need. His crossfader needs replacement though. My other DJ friend has the 3002x, but his crossfader is still good.

I myself have the Stanton rm3s. It is an alright mixer. I wish the setup had the Numark feel. The Stanton is almost like a clone of the vestax 270. If you're a bedroom DJ, then you shuold go with the Numark 3002x. Great setup and does not have unecessary features whish the rm3s has. As long as you take care of your equipment, it should be all good.

Whh000tt .. Great info JohnSmith ... i really grateful

btw since PMC series have shorter fader and have to replace if its wear out ... so if PMC compares to Numark DM3002x, Which one is better since Numark tend to have shorter fader lifetime

Thx, LeVouS

As JohnSmith said, yes, the Vestax PCV-275 is "the way to go" (barring Allen & Heath, etc.).

However, with your listed budget, I'd recommend you go with the Behringer VMX-300. The quality is very good - I find nothing wrong with it, and it serves me excellently. I find the EQ's to be particularly nice, with a high degree of attenuation. The faders feel solid and smooth, lacking the general "cheap-feel" that many mixers in the VMX-300's price range tend to have.

Behringers break right out of the box Dude you are just talking outa your ass no offense.

I owned a behringer mixer for almost a year and sold it to a doofus for 10 bucks less than i bought it for. The quality is good, but the eqs are not as accurate as other mixers. I owned the cheapest behringer dx100 mixer and it was good but didnt have enough features, so i bought i vestax mixer.
