If you are after that cliche sounds,, then your leads and synth should sound much more layered upfront, with a much more harder kick..

lol ive been told the exact opposite until now, everybody says my kick is too hard for uplifting, and my lead is very layered

just my personal opinion..

The kick is hard, but is a bit muddy and dull in the mix, is not standing out.
