Jumping right into the new year already with some excellent releases in both progressive & trance! D. Deluxer opens up this fresh selection with 'Arte' a tune with a nice groovy baseline, that I actually didn't want to play out for too long, as I think the listener might get a bit restless. In my opinion this is a track that is better suited for the dancefloor. Cid Inc. amazes me again and always with his brooding basslines and eerie building synths with 2 remixes of his at tracks 3 and 5. And how can any trance lover ever forget the talent from one of the greatest producers to ever touch the genre - Oliver Lieb under his alias 'Paragliders' brings you his heavy techno influenced 'Infra Rouge' at track 6, a deep, amazing, mindfuck of a production from '05. Back to back CLASSICS with Oliver Lieb and hopefully you guys remember the duo 'Razor N' Guido' from the late 90's. There isn't much to say about their track 'The Build Up' except that its just one long f*ckin build up that lasts for about 2 minutes, preparing you for a drop that was probably a few years ahead of its time. Sad to say but this is one track that I am still waiting to hear in a club!

And I think Paul MIller has a new alias, I could be wrong though. '7 Baltic' brings us 'Storm', a nice thick sounding melodic trancer that really kind of sounds a lot like Mr. Miller which is a good thing! Ottaviani does an excellent job at remaking 'North Pole' from Solid Globe, followed by a tough, emo trance tune from Daniel Kandi called 'Promised'.
