Tiesto - best DJ ever

While many dance portals often do an annual top DJ poll – ourselves included with our ITM50 – UK dance music bible Mixmag took things a step further with their highly-publicised The Greatest DJ of All Time survey. The winner of that title has now been revealed, with voters crowning Tiesto as the #1 DJ ever.

Yes, that’s right, the master of ‘Trouse’ himself beat out other legends of the ones and twos such as Carl Cox, Sasha and Larry Levan for the title in Mixmag’s list. The result will surely be debated for days and weeks to come but it certainly shows just how powerful mobilised trance fans can be!

I think "Magik 6", "Nyana", and "In Search of Sunrise 4" are the pinnacle of trance.

most long time listeners would say 1,2, and 3 were leagues above the rest.

and that list would have a smidgen of cred if you took out tiesto.
