when someone is giving me money for something (like a friend at a club to get them a drink) and they take it out of their pocket and it's all crumbled up and unorganized.

all sorts of phone mannerisms too...i'm on the phones a lot for my jobs so i come across stuff that bothers me.


like when people take too long to say something really short and simple.

example, "HII! how are you doing today?"

me: fine, how can i help you?

them: well this is _____ and i'm calling from Dr. _____'s office. Your client has been treating with us, and his final report is ready and i was just wondering what your fax number is"




i know that sounds silly, but when i'm right in the middle of something or the other lines are holding for me, i really don't need to hear all that other pointless crap. just ask me what the goddamn fax number is and i'll give it to you.

also, im a hostess at a fancy restaurant so all of our guests are rich snobs, mostly older people too. and this happens A LOT. when the phone lines are ringing (more than one), and it's just me, i'm forced to answer the phone and say, "thank u for calling, bla bla bla, may i place you on a brief hold?"

i'm being NICE by asking them if they will hold for me, instead of just saying, "please hold" and a lot of times, they will completely disregard what i said and just be like, "yea um, hi, i need to make reservations for bla bla bla" and i just wait for them to finish and say, "sir/ma'am? can i place u on a brief hold please?" and they always get all quiet and go, "... fine" and i'm like, "THANK U"

fuckin snobby ass people...never been told to hold? well KISS MY FUCKING WHITE ASS, now ur gonna hold for 5 minutes.
