Where to buy home hifi, amp, speakers etc online?

whats the best place to buy hifi seperates online. im after amp, speakers, sub woofer, cd player, md deck, possibly a tuner. any reccomendations on the actual gear itself. its for my bedroom, but i want the whole of the northeast to hear it, so any reccomendation on the actual eqipment would be good too. anywhere that has a good service, reasonably priced, and a good selection. could be tuff i know, so any suggestion greatly appreciated. limit... well about 2000 max

if u are spending that amount you really should hear the unit first.

for cheap stuff go to http://www.richersounds.com/cgi-bin....cgi?load=frame BEWARE. i buy loads of stuff and normally it never works first time. but once i take it back i normally get a few pounds knocked of the unit after it is fixed.

if u wont amazing sound u need to get LINN speakers. have u ever heard of them? i worked for them last year. they are the best there is. they have units in the QE2 and the white house. a good pair of speakers are the Kans. i have a pair of them, they are shelf standing and cost £350. u can get cheap floorstanding ones for about £500. once again superp Sound.

if u are interested in the linn 1z i will find there site for u.

when u are on the first page scroll down. there is a drop down menu in the Product Locator section. im not sure if there are prices on the site. If u search around it will give you prices or places to go for prices.

I f you can find what you want on E-BAY than its definatly worthy of a visit. Very very low price, i saw some 2nd hand 1210's that went for £240.

Linn, sweeeeeet my household is obsessed with decent Hi-Fi, we all have our own seperate systems. Although none of us have the money for anythin really special. But my brother does have some reference KEF speakers which are worth bout £4000 originally as for buying stuff yeah Richers are by far the best. They have a store in Newcastle if u want to check em out
