it's just that i was planning on buying a midi keyboard to control it and control an access virus c.
so what to do :P should i get it with a keyboard and use it as a master controller to control the virus also? can that be done? or im just talking nonsense :P

You can use the 8000 to control the virus c. but if you already have a midi keyboard (a nice one with velocity and aftertouch), use that to control the 8080 and the virus c.

jp 8080 has vocoder, so you can use the synth engine to tweak the stereo input, jp 8000 keyboard is not that good (no aftertouch i think, and 5 octaves) so if you allready have a midi keyboard go for the jp8080

Yeah the keyboard portion of the jp8000 only has 4 octaves and no aftertouch. the jp8000 itself also doesn't have a midi thru port.
