Yes I believe so. IMO pickle is to small for this party and the Get Lost party also.
I will have hard tickets for this pretty soon.

money talks...it aint cheap to launch a new label and I'm sure Shelborne laid out a SERIOUS stack of cash to get this party.
Also Shelborne just remodeled the WHOLE place, so I think they're trying to get rid of the juice-head fist pumpers and usher in a new era...
HOWEVER< if they have the typical operational issues and can't get the normal crowd that flexes and poses by the pool all day to go elsewhere, its gonna be a disaster...a case of the real heads standing outside in line for hours missing the party b/c the pool is full of roid-ragers that won't leave b/c they booked rooms at the hotel.
gonna be innnnneresting!
as for Get Lost not being at the pickle b/c the party got "too big" thats a horrid proposition, shame on you for saying it lol...if this is the year techno turns trendy, we DEF don't need the big parties in the mainstream venues..keep it grass roots at the Pickle (which by the way if you haven't been to in the past 2 months, the upstairs is completely remodeled and PIMP! they have a spaceship discoball light thing on the ceiling...amazing, and the new soundsystem...bonkers. and a cool little patio outside looking over the backyard)

there comes a time when the operation of the machine is so odious that you cannot even tacitly participate. you've got to place your bodies on the gears, the wheels, all the mechanism. you've got to indicate to those who own it and those who run it, that unless you are free, the machine will be prevented from working at all.

Shame on me for saying it lol it's the truth. So it will be a bunch of music heads standing around the block trying to get into the Pickle for hours bc it's to capacity. Sounds like the same case you just brought up about the Shelbourne. It's been my experience when your party outgrows a venue, you look for a bigger venue. I'm all for keeping it grass roots but it's simple business logistics. In the end these guys want to make money also down here to cover their expenses.
Yes I have been to the Pickle lately, for Lee Foss and also Lee Curtiss and Shaun Reeves. Yea the remodel looks dope. Still hot as fuck up there.
