They are good for the money. I haven't heard any complaints about their VMX line. Most people get the VMX300 (which is the 3 channel one that Arya mentioned).

I have the 3-channel Behringer (VMX-300). It works perfectly, and does not feel cheap at all. The price tag can be a little deceiving! To quote from the manual that comes with the mixer:

"We are often asked how we manage to produce such high-grade devices at such unbelievably low prices. The answer is quite simple: it's you, our customers! Lots of satisfied customers means large sales volumes, which in turn enables us to reduce production and logistics expenses."

There you have it. One of my favourite features of the mixer is that each channel has a large level meter, with 10 LED's. Oh and I won't get into the +12 dB/ -32dB eq's and -32 dB kill switches.

I have always stated that Behringers are the best value for money mixers. They are pretty smooth for what you are paying. But they are still no DJM500 or Allen & Heath, but for learning on I would highly recommend the Behringer range!
