Texas is actually much cooler than people think! People there are really nice and open minded. I was also very surprised to see that they have a brewing electronic music scene in Dallas!

surprisingly I find most Americans to be much friendlier than Canadians... it's bizarre but true

my close friend lived there for a year and he tells me exactly that, people are very relax, extremly polite and well mannered. Plus the BBQ rocks!

nice and open minded in the dallas/fort worth area, and Austin...not so much in the rest of the state.

the BBQ is way better in Memphis or kansas city.
