I got my laptop back in October 2009. I bought one that is super-slim and has great battery life but that's at a detriment to raw power and graphics (so games are pretty much a no-go) but for an 8 hour flight it works throughout and is very easy to transport around in my bag. I've always had desktops for my power usage but I've not got one of them for 3 years now so obviously that's well out of date and I generally only use it for mixing nowadays because my laptop won't run traktor without massive sound blips.
