yeah this would be a HUGE exposure for new dj's to the sydney scene, get their mixes to the masses and get some feedback...

does nova broadcast on the net as well?

Its not so easy to get on trust me, luckilky i brought the idea to Jimmy Z about listener mixes.

It's hard cause if your mix is crap then they'll say send another, lucky i was the first person in australia to be on.

go to www.NOVA969.com.au or www.livedirect.com.au for more info.

and yes they have broadcast over the net.

Waxology, i never Djed anywhere, just practising on the WAVE programs as a practise tool until i get my decks, and i went on....so just produce a new mix then you'll go on only if its good....

ALSO im going on again for the first time ever which will be good so i gotta produce another good mix.

Not a nova set but my best friend in perth did a triple j mix up a couple of years ago. Wicked set, back when he played trance and plenty of flying rhino psi trance.

whats wrong with using a computer, hey but my wave program is stupid, you actually need skill to bloody mix with it, its not as easy as sound forge or whatever...

trust me Creative Wave Studio is crap but its the only im used to...

so whats wrong with using a PC....i done the mixes not the computer.

Computer Mixing

Allright I wanna make a point!

I am poor, I have not a lot of money, well my P's do but I'm currently doing yr. 12 and don't have much time to work for $$$

If I have an mp3 that I can't/haven't burnt or I don't have the vinyl (a good friend has 1200's) I generally settle with pcdj, yeah I know, but just wait.

This has no eq bands or kill switches and because I don't have a creative soundcard I can't monitor either...do you know what this means?? when I play the music what ther audience (or tape/cd) hears is everything I hear so when I start a track it's gotta be perfect. So anyone who say's it's easier on a computer program "that does everything for you" is fooling themselves, some of these mixes are AWESOME with my mixer when I can actually use some functions.

Basically imagine using to cd players that only have tempo control and you are using to volume sliders to mix....

seriously understand what your talking about, but atomix is another area (that's BS)
