Anyone here use the Vengeance Multiband Sidechain? I've heard lots of good things and wondered about your experiences. I'm betting Cryo has used this?

Oh yeah, I have it and use it religiously for my sidechaining duties. It's very cool, easy to use, and very flexible. The ability to use MIDI as the trigger (with the Transmitter) is very cool and opens up a lot of possibilities for rhythmic sidechaining other than the typical off-beat patterns. The trigger did give me some stability issues in the first version (only in Sonar, though, as I recall), but somewhere along the line, either a Vengeance or Sonar update seems to have fixed it and it's very stable on my system. It does use the Steinberg dongle, but seeing as you're the Cubase guru, I don't think that will bother you. Bottom line is that, even though Vengeance gets a pretty bad rap due to its sample libraries, I highly recommend the two plugins that I have: MBSC and Philta XL.
