CD turntable question. . .. .

Say you had a 2 deck CD turntable and you put in a cd. What happens if you want to mix in another song and it is on the same cd?

You need two decks and 2 copies of the same CD

I burn each individual track on a separate cd. It's worth it because if you scratch once cd (and it will have to be in the very middle too) then you don't loose more than one song. Also, that way to don't have to burn every disc in duplicate or look to see which track the song you want is. You won't accidentally over play into the next track if some one interupts you etc. CDs are very cheap and you can burn then very quickly and they don't take up very much room at all!

That's true flesch.

but, it's a lot of wasted space too! i just find 80 minutes of songs that i like, burn 2 copies of the CD, and i'm good to go.

if one get's scratched, i can always copy the other.

also, another thing i wanted to mention, in answer to the original question, some CD players are capable of playing 2 songs of the same disc at the same time, at different pitches.

I think this player does it, not sure how though.. anyone used one of these?

here's a link to their video http://www.pioneerprodj.com/media/video/cmx-zip.asf

ive never messed with CD turntable before but if they have a dent in the middle that holds the CD or whatever u can get those tiny Cd that are only about 300 megs large, u can buy them in bulk and you wont be wasting space. they are only about 2.5 inches in diameter.

you could always burn your cds with the one main song and all the remixes of it on the same cd... just like a vinyl

or you just try to be a little carefull with the selection of songs that you burn into the CD....i try to get like 2 or 3 mega superduper songs that i just love on a cd and then put some other songs that are not as good as the mainsongs.....just to fill out the space on the cd...

takes a little longer time to plan it good but it's worth it..believe me
