Its a giant iPhone, which I already own, so I don't know about you but I don't plan on getting one. And I'm a very big Apple user.
Plus I love Apple and all that but they need to do something about Adobe Flash compatibility on iPhone and iPad. You can't use it on them. Other than that I think its a great product

For my daughter i think it will be perfect, she loves to use my iphone, but her little fingers are too clumsy on such a small screen... I'm seriously thinking about it.
It's great to watch porn cause it's too small on my Iphone and doesn't really get me going.

one thing is sure is that RIM (blackberry) is taking another blow.
I've owned an Ipad for about a year now and it's great for many things aspecialy if you travel a lot. Great apps to check up on news ( BBC, Le monde, CNN...) , great for videos! The screen is amazing and the quality is sublime but the audio is very low volume... you'll need headphones. Battery life is boss!
One major thing that I dislike is that a lot of the great apps that can make this Ipad better cost 10-30$... so let's say you'll download 5-6 of them that's already 50-150$.. + your Ipad = 499+ Taxe... + Cover = 50$ ...+ warranty 150$... It can add up very quickly to 1K and more.
1k = macbook air.
